What powers our websites

We are champions of the Joomla! CMS, a robust system that can power a blog, business website, intranet, community website—from the simplest to the most complex website.
Although we have designed in Wordpress and others, we prefer the flexibility, organizational tools, user management tools, ease of use, how we can control design/layout, and the overall power of Joomla!.

The template framework we employ is built on UIkit, a lightweight modular framework for creating fast and powerful web interfaces for a better user experience.

The CMS is the foundation of the website.  Although there are components or widgets that do tasks like handling media or allow for shopping, the CMS is what powers the site.  It is the brain and brawn.

There has been an ongoing debate which open source CMS is the best.  The most popular is Wordpress followed by Joomla!, (which powers about 6% of the world's websites), then Drupal (there are a number of lesser known ones, too).  We have worked with all the big three.  Because Wordpress is #1 in usage does not mean it is the best although time and time again, a WP user/developer claims such.  Each of the big three have great attributes.  Consider the difference between these automobiles: BMW, Mercedes, and Porche. Great names, quality products, different attributes.

Tools We Use

We've been designing websites since the early days of the Internet.  Sites layouts are customized to brand and company.  We use open source content management systems (CMS), and integrate widgets/components/functions specific to our client's needs without costly custom app development.

Not too worry, we have partners that design custom apps when needed.
